Yes, CBD oil is very helpful for relieving stress in cats. Cats are commonly prone to experiencing stress and nervous tension. As creatures of habit, change in their environment can trigger stress in cats, or stress may be experienced as a result of a chemical or hormonal imbalance. The calming effect of CBD makes CBD oil a great way to assist cats who are prone to experiencing feelings of stress and nervous tension.
Purchased the 3000mg tincture bottle, have been using this in the mornings and after working out at night. Working a desk job, my back can become stiff and achy easily if proper posture is not maintained. This coupled with working out quickly lead to days where it just hurt to get out of bed or even bend over to tie my shoes in the morning. After the first day of trying this out, my back pain was gone. And I mean gone. I would encourage anyone who has any pain at all anywhere to give this a try. The anti-inflammation results are great. I’ll admit I was skeptical at first and wanted to make sure I did some research before buying, but the results really do speak for themselves. 10/10 and would 100% recommend. Very happy I found this when I did.
I work at Earthbound Trading Company, therefore discovering the CBD line. By far, one of my favorite products in our store! I had a nurse come in with chronic back pain and fibromyalgia. I recommended the CBD intensive cream. At a later date, she returned to the store to let me know that we sold her a miracle in a jar. She said that for the first time in years she was the most relaxed at work that she has ever been since she started nursing. She applied it while at work and said that she was pain free for 10 out of her 12 hour shift! I, myself, have been having some sharp, shooting back pain the last two weeks. The intensive cream has worked wonders! I applied it at one in the afternoon, and I was pain free for 12 hours! Plus, you can literally feel it working. Such an amazing product. You definitely can’t find that kind of pain relief over the counter or in your local pharmacy.
But, uh, what is it that CBD is supposed to do? I visited a cannabis dispensary in Boulder to find out what the hype was all about. After passing an ID check, I was introduced to a “budtender” who pointed me to an impressive array of CBD products — tinctures, skin patches, drink powders, candies, salves, massage oil, lotions, “sexy time personal intimacy oil” and even vaginal suppositories to treat menstrual cramps.
I have let my 5.3 lb maltese (up from 3.1 as a new rescue) a month ago), have a drop with treats. He was neutered four days ago. I give him a drop with a smear of lip balm…he loves some eos! And then rub a drop over his incision. He came home with the hated cone. As soon as he got the oil he stopped licking. The incision is pliable and doesnt bother him at all. I have the pain pills on hand just in case. But so far i have to stop his dancing and playing on hind legs.
Marijuana is recreationally legal in nine states (and D.C.), but technically, CBD is legal in 43 states—as long as it has been derived from hemp, which contains very few traces of THC. But this also means a potentially less potent product. A 2015 study out of The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Israel, found that whole-plant CBD is superior to hemp-derived CBD for the treatment of inflammatory and anxiety conditions. Flower Power’s CBD coffee is derived from hemp and double-tested in a lab in Massachusetts to makes sure it’s THC-free. Leivent says that if he lived and worked in a state where marijuana were recreationally legal, he’d get whole-plant CBD rather than the hemp-derived stuff. “CBD from whole-plant marijuana has other chemicals in it, minute cannabinoids that work synergistically with the body to create an entourage effect,” says Leivent. “You get more of a medical effect with all of these chemicals working together rather than just one particular [hemp-based] isolate."
Wash your hands after you’re finished. Most CBD topicals have additional active ingredients, such as citrus, mint, or capsaicin (the active ingredient in hot peppers). While these components are definitely helpful for relieving pain, inflammation, etc., it wouldn’t feel too good getting any of these in your eyes, nose, or on your genitals. So just to be on the safe side, wash your hands.

I have to admit: I'm a big coffee person. The first thing I do whenever I wake up is brew myself a cup of joe — and if I don't, my entire day is usually thrown off. My go-to choice is always something strong, which typically leaves me feeling awake (but a little bit jittery). However, I recently tried a different type of coffee that's about to change my caffeine routine for the better. I'm talking about CBD-infused ground coffee by Pure Hemp CBD. Its active CBD components mixed with its coffee characteristics gave me a mellow caffeine buzz unlike any other.
Flower Power, which sells CBD-infused coffee to cafes like Caffeine Underground in New York City, puts 5 mg of CBD in each serving of coffee. The company, like many involved in the sale of CBD, is extremely careful about what it says regarding CBD’s effects for fear of FDA intervention. The standard language for CBD packaging and website documentation is similar to that of many supplements (think: milk thistle, echinacea, elderberry, turmeric) and is some variation on: “These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or ailment.”
The federal government recognizes single-molecule THC (Marinol) as an anti-nausea compound and appetite booster, deeming it a Schedule III drug, a category reserved for medicinal substances with little abuse potential. But whole plant marijuana, the only natural source of THC, continues to be classified as a dangerous Schedule I drug with no medical value.
The 1000mg potency would be best. The recommended dose is 1/2 the dropper 1-2 times a day. If you do not get the desired relief within a couple days you can slowly increase the dose as that is not harmful and essentially adds to the potency being absorbed. Our products metabolize differently in each individual; we do have customers whom take it in the morning, afternoon, and evening as they find that is what works best for them. The topical ointment may be beneficial as well as it contains menthol so it gives an instant relief while the CBD absorbs into the skin.
Other studies have been done in lab animals, or in vitro (meaning in a test tube, using animal brain tissue). Those studies have found anxiety-reducing effects but only at midlevel dosages, in the range of 10 to 20 mg per kg. As an example, one study found that CBD can, in rats, be an effective anti-inflammatory painkiller — at 20 mg per kg. It’s not a direct translation, but that dosage would be somewhere in the range of several hundred milligrams for an adult human.
Did you get an answer for this? I have the exact same scenario. I'm treating my TN with Tegretol, and recently tried CBD. I think I took too much and there are some weird drug interactions with Tegretol and I felt quite stoned....was alone and talking to myself in my head thinking I was Einstein. It freaked me out a bit but I think I took too much. I'm trying lower doses again as recently my TN seems to be resisting the meds, although I have had a lot of emotional stress, which seems to be a trigger. Thanks!! Anna
I purchased this product locally and as I walked back to my car, I was in so much pain in my feet and hands I wasnt sure I could make it back. I sat in my car and took a dropper full (1ml). As I was sitting there I could feel the inflammation in my hands disappear and the pain went away. My feet began to feel the effects next and the pain all but subsided. I hadnt been sleeping very good at night but last night I slept like a baby with NO pain. Why isnt this marketed as a product that is NON opiod and covered by insurance? Rheumatoid Arthritis is the most painful thing in the world but this helped me 100%. I almost cried last night I was so happy for a change! Thank you for making this product.
Good morning! I’ve been researching CBD oil for a couple of years and I’ve tried a few CBD oils. I am very satisfied with the one I am presently taking which meets all of the requirements stated, organically grown in the US, laboratory tested for quality etc . If anyone would like more information I’d be happy to help. Just shoot me an email at email@example.com. I’m a firm believer in the benefits of CBD oil and finally found one that works for me!
We know topicals should not test positive, as long as transdermal cannabis patches are avoided, but you should always handle them with care regardless. Contact with your eyes or mouth may cause trace amounts of THC to enter your bloodstream and trigger a positive reading. It is all too easy to rub your eyes or bite your nails after applying a topical and put your chances of passing at risk. Using gloves and washing your hands thoroughly after applying medicated lotions will help to avoid the threat.
